Food and medical aid provided by Russia distributed in Damascus countryside 

 

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the delivery of food and medical aid to residents of the village of Al-Taybeh in Al-Kiswah district in the Damascus countryside.

The Ministry explained in a statement on Sunday that Russian military personnel from the Russian Coordination Center distributed aid, which “includes 300 food baskets, each containing 10 kilograms of food stuffs, and one ton of clothing was also distributed to the most needy families.” A medical team also inspected the village as Russian military doctors examined sick residents and provided them with the necessary treatment and medications.

The people of the village of Taybeh expressed their thanks to their Russian friends for their continued support for the Syrian people, which confirms the deep-rooted and strong bonds of friendship between Russia and Syria.
