The Flowers and Handicrafts Exhibition, which is part of Lattakia Summer Festival, is witnessing a remarkable turnout from the city’s residents, vacationers and visitors from the rest of the governorates.

The exhibition, which opened on the 16th  of this month and will last for three weeks in Al-Fursan Park in Lattakia, is attended by more than fifty exhibitors from several governorates and about 60 economists.  It provides various goods at discounted prices.

Lattakia Tourism Directorate participated in the exhibition  in a pavilion with the aim of introducing, promoting and shedding light on tourist sites in the province.

Head of the Promotion Department in the Tourism Directorate in Lattakia Ghafari Abbas noted that the participation in the exhibition aims to introduce the services provided by the Directorate and the natural and archaeological tourist sites to activate tourism in addition to introducing restaurants and hotels and their classifications.

Fadia Kirwan from Hama Agriculture Directorate indicated that the directorate’s participation comes through ornamental trees, flowering plants, and models of water wheels, in addition to handicrafts from the province’s heritage.

The visitors pointed out that the exhibition, with its diversity and richness, left a positive impression on them, as it is an important destination and an attractive outlet during the summer months.  They referred to the exhibition’s richness in various products, especially plants and flowers, many of which are sold at reasonable prices.
