Flights, supposed to head to Aleppo, will land in Damascus or Lattakia

Damascus (ST) – The Ministry of Transport – The General Organization of Civil Aviation- decided to transfer the flights, scheduled to land in Aleppo Airport to Damascus or Lattakia International Airports.

The Ministry stated today that following the Israeli aggression that targeted Aleppo International Airport and led to putting it out of service, it was decided to transfer the landing of the humanitarian relief planes and the scheduled programmed flights through Aleppo International Airport to Damascus and Lattakia Airports.

The Ministry called on travelers to arrange their travel and transportation matters and their flight schedules on this basis.

The Ministry affirmed that its cadres started to detect the damage in Aleppo International Airport with the aim of  repairing it in cooperation with the concerned national companies.
