Five Syrian companies participate in the Dubai Sweets and Chocolate Industry Exhibition 2024

Dubai, (ST) – With Syria’s participation, the activities of the Sweets and Chocolate Industry Exhibition kicked off yesterday in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and will continue for two days.

The Syrian participation, which was organized by the Local Production and Exports Support and Development Authority in cooperation with the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chamber of Industry, comes within the framework of promoting Syrian food products specialized in the manufacture of chocolate, sweets and wafers, due to the export and competitive importance of this Syrian industry in foreign markets, according to what the authority confirmed in a statement received by SANA.

The Authority indicated that the Syrian pavilion covers an area of ​​72 square meters, where 5 leading Syrian companies in the field of sweets and chocolate exhibit their products.

About 350 food companies specialized in the manufacture of chocolate, sweets and wafers, representing over 40 Arab and foreign countries, are participating in the exhibition.

Syria took part for the first time in the Sweets Exhibition in 2023 with a pavilion covering an area of ​​52 square meters and with the participation of 4 Syrian companies.
