Five persons martyred in a terrorist shelling attack in Aleppo city

Aleppo – Five civilians were martyred when armed groups fired shells on the southern Halab al-Jadida neighborhood in Aleppo city, in a new breach of the Russian memorandum on de-escalation zones.

A source at Aleppo Police Command said that armed groups positioned in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo fired three shells on citizens’ houses in the southern Halab al-Jadida neighborhood, SANA reported.

Five persons were martyred due to the attack, in addition to the injuring of many others, most of them are children and women, who were rushed to al-Razi and the University hospitals for treatment, according to the source.

On Sunday, a person was martyred in a rocket shell attack on al-Qanjara village in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
