Five people, including a soldier, were martyred and 15 others were wounded in a new Israeli missile attack that targeted points in Damascus and its vicinity, including residential neighborhoods.

A military source told SANA, that the Israeli enemy at 00:22 this dawn carried out a missile attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan targeting several points in Damascus and its vicinity, including populated neighborhoods.

The Syrian air defenses confronted the enemy’s missiles and downed most of them, the military source adddd.

According to the source, the attack resulted in the martyrdom of five people, including a soldier, and the wounding of 15 civilians, some of them are in critical condition.

The attack also led to the destruction of several buildings and caused massive damage to a number of residential neighborhoods in Damascus and its vicinity.
