Five people injured by terrorists’ rocket shells

Daraa – Five people were injured and fires broke out in several houses when terrorists targeted residential neighborhoods in Daraa City with rocket shells in a new violation of the Russian memorandum on de-escalation zones in Syria.

The armed groups fired on Wednesday rocket shells towards the neighborhoods of al-Sahhari, al-Mattar and al-Kashef, leaving several people injured, in addition to causing material damage to public and private properties, SANA reported.

A medical source in Daraa National Hospital said that ambulances admitted five people to the hospital, pointing out that they were injured by shrapnel from shells that hit al- Sahhari neighborhood.

A source at Daraa Fire Station said that the fire fighters are putting out the fires caused by the shells that fell down on the neighborhoods of Sajna, al-Mattar, and al- Sahhari, and that the fires are under control.
