First Syrian Education and Training Exhibition Launched

DAMASCUS, (ST) _ Events of the first Syrian exhibition for education and training was launched yesterday, with the participation of dozens of public and private universities, educational and training institutes and centers, organized by al-Masarat company for Exhibition, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education in Dama Rose Hotel.

Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammed Amer Al-Mardini said that convening this exhibition is a real challenge in light of the crisis the country has been experiencing, adding that this event is but a golden opportunity for students and their families to see options available and the various disciplines in higher education to complete their studies and obtain full information about conditions and requirements for enrolment.

 

The minister pointed that the participation of public and private universities reflects abundant higher education systems, disciplines and both theoretical and practical departments, so as to meet requirements of the next stage of constructing both the individual and society, alike .

For his part, Director General of the exhibition organizing company Anas Zabian explained that the three-day exhibition, provides an important opportunity to get acquainted with the conditions of educational processes in Syria, especially in light of the current circumstances in the country, which led to changes in the activities and whereabouts of certain universities and affiliated colleges and departments.

Worthy mentioning that Masarat which is one of Ugarit Consulting Group companies, was founded as the first Syrian company specialized in investment projects and feasibility studies and in drawing plans for restructuring of devastated institutions.
