First Specialist Exhibition for Renewable Energy Today

Damascus, (ST) – The First Specialist World Exhibition for Renewable Energies “All Energy” starts today at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The event is organized by the Syrian International Foundation for Marketing “SIMA” in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity and the support of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, the Union of Damascus Engineers and with the participation of dozens of local, Arab and international companies working in the field of energy.

The General Director of the Syrian International Foundation for Marketing, Mowafaq Tayara, said in a statement to local press that the aim of the exhibition is to increase the contribution of clean renewable energy, supplying the electrical system and the promotion of energy conservation, to raise the efficiency of use of procedures which will provide investment opportunities, the development of industrial automation market and clean energy technology.

Mr. Tayara pointed to the importance of crystallization the government trends in the areas of activation of the use of renewable energies and the adoption of national policies that meet the demand for alternative energy, focus on renewable energy and to change the style and culture of excessive consumption of resources in general and energy in particular through the support of research and studies at the national and regional levels.

The three-day exhibition will witness participation of companies specialized in energy and environmental systems sectors of housing, industry, agriculture and medical industries..

The last two days of the exhibition will include lectures dealing with the development challenges for the electricity sector and strategic vision of the Ministry of Electricity, rationalization and energy conservation,  the challenges of a network of power transmission and practical applications of the company savings in the field of solar energy as well as topics related to the applications and systems to generate electricity,  solar energy, the structure of the solar panel system, methods of selection of system elements and investment in the electricity sector.
