First round of final qualifiers tests of the Syrian Science Olympiad kicks off

The First round of the final qualifiers tests of the Syrian Science Olympiad kicked off Monday morning with the participation of 367 students from different Syrian provinces.

The tests will determine the national teams that will participate in the International and World Olympiad competitions during the coming period in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics.

The final qualifiers, which are held by the Distinction and Creativity Agency, include two rounds of tests conducted over two days to the 10th grade students who  qualified as of this year as well as students who were members of the Science Olympiad national teams in previous years.

The results are scheduled to be announced on Wednesday within a celebration to be held at the Opera House in Damascus.

 The Syrian Science Olympiad for the academic year 2020-2021 began on October 31st, 2020, with the participation of 6235 10th grade students from all Syrian provinces.
