Fires erupted in Lattakia’s Kassab area due to shelling by Turkish-backed terrorists

Shells fired by Turkish-backed terrorist groups in Idlib countryside caused the eruption of  two fires in Kassab area in Lattakia countryside.

The two fires were erupted in Al-Shajara and Nabe’ Al-Mur areas within Kassab’s agricultural lands after the shells fell in these lands, according to Head of Forestry Department at the Lattakia Agriculture Directorate, Bassem Douba.

Firefighting teams at Lattakia Agriculture Directorate are trying to control the fires and extinguish them to avoid their spread to new areas and to houses, SANA reporter said.

Turkish-backed terrorist groups positioned in Idlib province repeatedly fire rockets on agricultural lands and houses in the towns of the neighboring provinces.
