Final statement of the Islamic Unity Conference calls for supporting Palestinian people and the issue of Al-Quds

Tehran, (ST) – The final statement of the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference, which was held in the Iranian capital, Tehran with Syria’s participation, affirmed that the issue of occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and support for the Palestinian people must remain among the priorities of the common values and principles of the Islamic world to achieve Islamic unity.

The statement pointed out that normalization with the usurping, occupying Zionist entity is not in the interest of the Islamic world at all, because there is no confidence in this entity, which, if given the opportunity, will not hesitate to attack other Islamic countries.

“This entity has never adhered to any International resolutions and conventions, and even proceeds with its plans based on assassinations and provoking conflicts and wars in the Islamic world”, the statement added.

The statement indicated that the Islamic world is witnessing new developments that revive hope, because these developments avoid escalation, disagreement and conflict between countries of the Islamic world, and support the establishment of just peace in the region.

The statement stressed that dialogue and a political solution are the only way to establish sustainable peace among the countries of the Islamic world, expressing hope that the crises in Syria and Yemen will be solved and stability will be brought to them.

The statement said that one of the most important factors in achieving the unity of the Islamic nation is ending the hegemony of the enemies of Islam over the capabilities of the peoples of the region and the Islamic world.

The statement indicated that the resumption of political relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Saudi Arabia is considered one of the most important new developments in the region, and this has become an important factor in the move of other Islamic countries towards cooperation and peace.

The statement continued: The World Assembly for Rapprochement between Islamic Schools of Thought suggests holding the second international conference and a special festival for awareness and illumination. On this occasion, it called on all influential and well-known media outlets in the Islamic world, including social media platforms, civil society organizations, and all those interested, to present their activities and productions in the field of the Holy Qur’an.

The statement also made it clear that the family is a common value, and is the main focus for raising future generations, and that Western countries are trying, through their satanic programs, to eliminate this value by spreading homosexuality and degrading human dignity, and this contradicts the teachings of all religions. “Therefore Islamic countries should cooperate to confront this cultural attack which eliminates the value and the main role of the family in raising generations.
