Fighting Crime in Lattakia

 The press office in Lattakia has announced that within the framework of chasing criminals and wanted persons in the province, a security patrol in charge of confronting crimes and negative manifestations chased a wanted person and put him under siege.

The patrol members exchanged gunfire with the criminal who refused to surrender.

The office said on its Facebook page that the operation led to the destruction of the walls of a room and caused a fire in the criminal’s house near “Houria” fuel station at the “Al-Zera’aa”  roundabout. Firefighters extinguished the fire in the site where they found  an unidentified body.

Immediately, concerned authorities rushed to the scene to follow up the issue and fix the damage caused in the site.
