Fifth round of the Syrian Constitutional Committee kicks off in Geneva

Meetings of the Fifth Round of the mini-Committee for discussing the Syrian constitution kicked off Monday morning in Geneva with the participation of the national delegation and other parties.

The constitutional committee’s fourth round convened in Geneva between November 3 and December 4, 2020. The talks dealt with several topics, including the national principles, the refugees return, the rejection of any separatist scheme in Syria and the need to tackle the humanitarian file, according to Head of the national delegation, Dr. Ahmad Al-Kuzbari.

Meetings of the third round of the committee were held in August, 2020, while the first and second rounds were held in 2019.
