Fierce clashes in Raqqa and Damascus Countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_The Syrian Arab Army’s units have clashed  with terrorist groups in several provinces and kill many of them.

The armed forces killed today (Tuesday) scores  of terrorists in Jobar, Adra, Bet Sahem, and Duma districts in Damascus countryside, SANA reported.

In addition,Raqqa province has seen fierce clashes  between army and thousands of gunmen, according to the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper.

“The gunmen are looting homes , public and private establishments amid chaos spread in the city (Raqqa),” the paper quoted activists as saying.

Repeatedly, the Syrian Arab army stressed that it won’t enter al-Yarmouk camp (in which Palestinian refugees were living before the terrorist groups forced most of them to flee from their homes) and would leave the Palestinian groups to deal with the matter.

Yesterday, the Palestinian Forces Coalition declared “The current situation in the camp (al-Yarmouk) is complicated and efforts exerted over the past period ended in a stalemate.”

Elsewhere, the Damascus-based paper  al-Watan said: “the army shelled terrorists’ hideouts in al-Rastan, al-Qsir, al-Hola and Talbisa areas in Homs countryside by artillery and warplane.”

Meanwhile, it was reported that an armed group defected from the so-called ‘free army’ and joined the Syrian Arab army in Aleppo.

Three  foreign terrorists killed

In addition, the armed forces targeted four terrorist hideouts in Idleb province and killed one of the terrorist leaders and other three terrorists of foreign nationality there.

In Lattakia countryside and Der Ezzour province, the Syrian army killed at least 20 terrorists from al-Nusra Front in fierce clashes.

The terrorist groups, who perpetrate criminal acts against citizens all over Syria and destroy infrastructure, are being supported by Turkey,Qatar, Saudi Arabia, France, Britain, and the US.
