Fidan: Getting Rid of the PKK Terrorist Organization is in The Interest of The Region’s Countries

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stressed the need to get rid of the terrorist organization “PKK”, in order to achieve the interests of Syria, Turkey, Iraq and the Kurds.

Speaking to the Turkish English-language TRT World channel , quoted by Anadolu Agency, Fidan said: “the new administration in Syria is currently working on very difficult files and ending the occupation of the terrorist organization” PKK ” is one of its priorities.”

Fidan pointed out that this terrorist organization is not only targeting Turkey, but also targeting Syria, Iraq and others, and it is time to get rid of it together.

Fidan reiterated the need for the countries of the region to create a platform in order to discuss the issue of terrorism to ensure that the “ISIS ” organization does not appear.”

He stressed the importance of preventing interventions in the region in order to “solve the problem of terrorism”, especially as it caused other problems.

Fidan also touched upon the developments of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza , stressing the need for US President Donald Trump and his administration to take responsibility for preventing another genocide in Gaza, “otherwise the Trump campaign’s messages about stopping wars will be in vain.”

He pointed out that the intention of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to resume the war as soon as he takes all the hostages because there is no pressure or any other force other than the Americans that can stop him.
