FIBA Men’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament kicks off in Damascus

The Paris 2024 FIBA Men’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament kicked off on Saturday at Al-Fayhaa spot hall in Damascus with the participation of teams from Syria, India, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Indonesia beat Kazakhstan 91-82 in the opening match of the tournament which will last until August 17th.

Later today, the Saudi team will play the Bahraini team, while the Syrian team will play the Indian team at 8 this evening.

The winner in the tournament will qualify for Paris Olympic Games  2024.
