FEARAB America condemns the coercive economic measures imposed on Syria

The Federation of Arab American Associations,(FEARAB America), condemned the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria

The Federation noted the steadfastness of the Syrian people in the face of these aggressive measures and agendas of regional and Western powers that still violate the principles of international legitimacy.

In two letters addressed to the President of the United Nations General Assembly and the President of the UN Security Council, the Board of Directors of FEARAB Federation confirmed that the barbaric terrorism and the interference of states in the affairs of Syria led to the destruction of large parts of the infrastructure and public service buildings in it and the displacement of a large number of residents.

In its two letters, the Board said that after more than a decade of suffering and in parallel with Syria’s victory in the face of terrorism, it is time for reconstruction

The Board pointed out as well as its rejection of the illegal American and Turkish presence in Syria and their blatant practices and their continued violation of Syrian lands, as well as their continuous looting of Syria’s resources and natural wealth.

The Board condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory and the extensive damage they cause to civilian facilities.

At the conclusion of its two letters, the Board stressed the need to respect the will of the Syrian people within their territories and to defend Syria’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
