The farmers of the liberated countryside of Idlib began harvesting the irrigated and rainfed wheat crop in the agricultural areas contracted with the General Organization for Seed Multiplication to produce seeds for the next agricultural season.
Abdul Aziz Bakdash, director of the Idlib branch the General Organization for Seed Multiplication stated that the harvesting operations are carried out under the supervision of the institution’s engineers, with the aim of preserving local wheat varieties and raising their purity of quality and quality.
In turn, the head of the Idlib Farmers Union, Nidal Saloh, indicated that the procedures for receiving the wheat crop after completing the preparations are continuing in accordance with the technical conditions to obtaining high-quality seeds to be sifted, sterilized and stored in the warehouses of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication.
