Failure of US, EU Foreign Policies Evident in Syria, Iraq and Libya: Sandor

PRAGUE, (ST)- Former Czech Military Intelligence Chief Andor Sandor has stressed that what happened in Syria, Iraq and Libya provides evident examples about the failure of the US and European Union’s foreign policies in the Middle East.

In a statement to the “Parliamentary Papers” website on Monday, Sadors said the results of the bad foreign policy of the United States and the European Union, particularly France, can be seen in Syria and in Iraq which was unfairly attacked in 2003 and has been since then suffering a state of instability.

The US President has admitted that his administration’s biggest mistake in terms of foreign policy has been “the destruction of Libya”, Sandors said, calling for getting the Nobel prize back from Obama because of the crystal clear US failure in Libya.

According to Sandors, “people who see the negative impacts of western countries’ policies realize that the West is not interested in attaining peace in the world, but in causing more destabilization.”

He pointed out that the immigrant crisis is now one of the most serious challenges facing the European Union.
