Fact-Finding Committee on Syrian Coast events: Detainees’ testimonies should be documented

The spokesperson for the Fact-Finding Committee on the Syrian Coast events affirmed that the committee asked the government to allow the committee members to interview detainees and document their testimonies.

He said that the committee also called for visiting the places where suspects are being held, starting tomorrow.

He added thay the committee emphasized the need to ensure that the government holds the detainees accountable.

He pointed out that the committee stressed that it will support the media’s right to access areas where violations occurred.
