Damascus (ST): The manufacturing of plastic and wrapping materials support the process of confronting the Corona virus pandemic through producing bottles and packaging materials for various kinds of sterilizers and detergents in addition to the medical gloves which are considered one of the most important means for personal prevention against the virus.

The factories specialized in this field have been working round the clock to meet the accelerated demand by detergent and disinfection facilities.

Chairman of the Plastic Committee at Damascus Industry  Chamber Fawaz Halabi said that about 700 plastic factories and facilities are working in Damascus and its countryside, noting that the response of these facilities to the government’s precautionary measures to confront Corona virus pandemic was speedy to meet the requirements of the companies and factories working in producing detergent and disinfection materials.

 

In turn, Director of the Domestic Company for Rubber and Plastic Materials Anas Yassin said that the Company has been dedicating all its human and technical capabilities  to meet the demands of the public and  private companies working in manufacturing detergents and disinfection materials.
