Israeli settlers set fire to a shop, nursery near Nablus

Israeli settlers early today set fire to a Palestinian-owned shop and nursery in the village of al-Sawiya, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that a group of settlers set fire to the shop and nursery located on the Nablus-Ramallah road causing damage, and even attempted to blow up the whole place using a gas cylinder, according to WAFA News Agency.

He said this is the sixth time settlers have vandalized the nursery.

Israeli occupation forces demolish two houses in Jericho city

Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces demolished two Palestinian-owned houses, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ariha (Jericho), out of dozens of houses slated for demolition in the same area.

The occupation authorities had delivered demolition notices to 13 houses in the same area and threaten owners of 67 other houses of demolition.

Tens of settlers storm into Al-Aqsa and Al-Ibrahimi Mosques

Tens of Israeli settlers on Monday stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque from the side of Bab Al-Magharbeh and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards under the heavy protection of the occupation forces, WAFA news agency said.

The agency clarified that the occupation forces were deployed this dawn inside the occupied old city of Al-Quds and prevented the Palestinians from entering Al-Aqsa to perform the dawn prayer. military checkpoints were also set up in the markets and the roads leading to the mosque, the agency added.

In the same context, dozens of settlers stormed into Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the center of the West Bank city of Al-Khalil and prevented the Palestinian worshipers from reaching it.
