A distinguished exhibition for young artists was held at the headquarters of the Al-Adiyat Association, with the participation of twenty plastic artists from the Syrian coast, in which they presented about thirty plastic works from the outcome of their new productions. The exhibition used watercolor, oil and charcoal techniques.
The exhibition was accompanied by a qualitative lecture by the artist, Hussein Sakoor, entitled (The Plastic Identity), in which he referred to some fallacies about the concept of formation among the public, and he also talked about the influences surrounding the work, cultural, environmental, and subjective. In addition to the emotional experiences left over from childhood, which would draw the special and distinctive imprint of each artist and define his plastic identity.
On the sidelines of the event and about the exhibition, artist Hussein Sakoor spoke:
I was and still am extending the threads of cooperation between generations, as youth are the future of this country, and extending a helping hand and support to them is an inevitable necessity, for every country that seeks progress, life, and keeping pace with civilization. This overwhelming desire for a homeland dominated by love and giving made me seek the dreamy youth in the midst of an increasingly difficult life. May my initiative revive hope and nourish their dreams with drops of love. He concluded with thanks to the management of the Adiyat Association, which hosted the exhibition.
