Explosions heard in US base in Al-Tanf area
HOMS, DEC.5, (ST)-Several explosion sounds were heard on Sunday inside the illegal base of the US occupation in Al-Tanf region in the eastern countryside of Homs at Syrian-Iraqi border.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted local sources as saying that the multiple explosions had been heard at the 55Km-area at the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border.
The sources added that helicopters affiliated to the US occupation forces flew over the area after the explosions.
On the 20th of November, US officials announced that drones targeted the US base in the above mentioned area.
The US base in Al-Tanf are was set up in 20214 under the pretext of fighting ISIS, while the facts revealed that the US base is a hotbed for terrorist groups, who are being supported by the US occupation forces to carry out attacks of the Syrian army’s sites and residential areas and infrastructures in the Syrian Badiya.
