Explosion of a mine, left behind by terrorists in Deir Ezzor countryside, kills a child

Deir Al-zzor,(ST)- A child was martyred and two others were injured due to the explosion of a land mine from the remains of “ISIS” terrorists in the Al-Husseiniya area in the northern countryside of Deir Al-zzor.

Dr. Ma’mon Hayza, the Director of the General Authority of the Al-Assad Hospital in Deir Al-zzor said: “Three children between 11 and 13 of age arrived at the hospital. The 11-year child died of serious wounds caused by shrapnel in the head and abdomen.” One of the other two children was seriously injured by the explosion, but he is receiving treatment, he added.

The terrorists of the “ISIS” organization, before their defeat in the areas where they were positioned, intended to plant mines and explosive devices. They hide them in the villages and towns, and in the agricultural lands to inflict as much damage as possible on the people who return to their areas after being liberated from terrorism.
