Expatriates Confirm confidence in Syrian Army

FRANKFURT, (ST) _ Syrian expatriates in Europe voiced support for their country, people, leadership and army to maintain its sovereignty and independence.

This was expressed during a national event held, yesterday in Frankfurt, Germany, where the Syrian communities in Europe, gathered to celebrate the 69ththe anniversary of the evacuation of the French occupation from Syria.

During the celebration, members of the Syrian community stressed that the Syrian people who defeated the French colonialists and won independence, will be able in today’s battles to defeat terrorism and its supporters as well as all the forces of aggression, which try to undermine Syria steadfastness.

Representatives of the Syrian communities in Romania, Bulgaria, Sweden, the Netherlands, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, France, Russia, Switzerland and Germany expressed their pride on this occasion and solidarity with their people and army in its war against excommunicating terrorism.

They also thanked the Committee in solidarity and defense of Syria and the Syrian expatriates association in Germany for hosting this event, expressing happiness over the meeting and the need for follow-up coordination in order to unite the position of Syrians abroad.

The ceremony was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Venezuela Jimmy Shidiac, and a large crowd of the Syrian community.

The Syrian Tishreen School in Bucharest was honored over disseminating Arabic language and the national curriculum in Diaspora.
