Exhibition of Syrian plastic artist held in Moscow

MOSCOW, Jul.21, (ST)-An exhibition of the Syrian plastic artist Nizar Sabbour was opened in the Hall of the Governmental Museum of the Peoples of the East in Moscow, which was visited by a number of Russian citizens, Arab and Syrian students, and representatives of Arab communities residing in Russia.
In his works, the artist Sabbour raises deep and influential humanitarian issues, monitors the impact of wars on the lifestyle, and heralds hope for a better life to convey a message that the Syrian people present a model in the will of life that they imbibe from the ancient history of their homeland.
During the opening of the exhibition, Syria’s ambassador to Russia, Dr. Riyad Haddad, explained that the importance of the exhibitions held by the artist Sabbour, who contributed to the Syrian and Arab plastic movement, comes as the artist works always raise deep and influential humanitarian issues and monitor the impact of wars on the lifestyle and herald hope for a better life.
