The Distinction and Creativity Agency has launched the exams for selecting the teams which will represent Syria in the International Scientific Olympiads for the year 2022 in mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry and informatics.
Malek Hammoud, the agency’s media advisor, explained to SANA that the exams started today in mathematics at the Faculty of Law of Damascus University.
29 students in the 11th and 12th grades from different Syrian provinces took the exams, Hammoud said, pointing out that the selection exams are held over two days to choose the best team that will represent Syria in the International Mathematics Olympiad which will be organized by Norway next July.
