Ex-Syria envoy admits that the goal of American occupation forces is to prevent the Syrian state from extending its control over its entire territory
A new American declaration reveals the real goal of the American administration to keep its occupying forces in some Syrian areas is to prevent the state from extending its full control over its territory away from the false slogans that these forces are present to fight the terrorist organization (ISIS).
James Jeffrey, who resigned from his post as the US administration’s envoy to Syria, declared in an interview published today by an Israeli newspaper that the goal of the American occupation of the Syrian lands was to prevent the Syrian state from extending its control over its entire territory. He stressed that the United States was able through the presence of its occupying forces in the Syrian Jazeera and Al-Tanf region to impose a stalemate in the field. “
The US administration claimed over the past years that it came to Syria to fight the terrorist organization (ISIS) within the framework of what it called the (international coalition) that it established outside the framework of the Security Council and international legitimacy.
Washington has announced more than once that it has eliminated ISIS in Syria, but most of the terrorist organization’s attacks on the Syrian Arab Army points in the Syrian semi-desert are launched from the areas where the US occupation forces are located.
Jeffrey’s confession is added to the admission of Donald Trump, who announced in more than one press release that his occupying forces are in Syria to protect the oil wells that have been looted by the United States of America in collusion with (Qasad) militia.
Last year, Trump announced more than once the withdrawal of the American soldiers deployed in Syria, but he backed down and later said that a number of American soldiers would remain in the areas that contain oil wells.
Stealing oil and preventing the Syrian Arab Army from regaining full control over the Syrian territories are two American goals for the presence of the occupation forces. There is also a third goal related to the unfair siege, which Jeffrey boasted about last May that this siege led to an increase in the prices of the citizen’s basic needs and a decrease in the exchange rate of the Syrian pound.
The frequent American confessions about the real goals of the American involvement in supporting terrorism in Syria and the occupation of some areas in it reveal the reality of the aggressive intentions of the American administration towards the Syrian state and its people.
Jeffrey’s admission also included the real role of the Turkish regime in the war on Syria and its people. He confirmed in his interview that the Turkish occupation forces are doing the same thing in northern Syria, adding that the aggressive alliance against Syria also includes the Israeli occupation entity that launched successive air attacks in support of terrorists .
