“Eve”, a theatrical dance show, depicting women’s suffering

The Syrian “Anima Dance Group” on Monday performed a theatrical dancing show called “Eve” at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts with the aim of shedding light on the problems of women in the Arab region in a humanitarian artistic way.

Within an hour, the dancers presented the story of several girls through body movements, light and music.

The theatrical dancing show sought to present a cry against the exploitation of women in the eastern societies which are still depriving women from their rights in education, work and freedom of speech.

A number of artists took part in this show, including Marwa Al-Atrash, Ahmad Hammouda, Joudi Al-Ali, Hazem Al-Sha’rani, Rawan Al-Rahiyya, Mira Issa, Karmen Ali, Danial Ridwan, Moayad Shawish and Ghazal Al-Bader.
