European source: The Brussels Conference will provide €27.5 billion to support Syria

A source in the European Union revealed that the amount of aid in the ninth session of the Brussels Conference to support Syria will reach €27.5 billion, an increase of about €100 million compared to the previous session of the conference, before the fall of the defunct Bashar al-Assad regime and the assumption of power by President Ahmad Al-Sharaa.

The source added, according to Independent Arabia on Telegram, that the conference, hosted by Brussels tomorrow under the title “Standing with Syria and Meeting Its Needs for a Successful Transition,” will witness Syria’s participation for the first time, represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani.
