European Solidarity Front For Syria: US Aggression on Syria Contradicts International Law

European Solidarity Front For Syria in Spain has decried the US aggression on Syria, expressing its solidarity with the Syrian Arab Army in fighting terrorism.

It said in a statement it delivered yesterday to the US Embassy in Madrid that the US aggression on Syria contradicts UN Charter and international law.

“The aggression was carried out against a sovereign state, which is a member of the United Nations and it unmasked the reality of president Donald Trump’s allegations on fighting ISIS,” the front said, stressing that the US aggression is unjustified and based on false pretexts fabricated by intelligence bodies  of countries supporting world terrorism, such as Saudi Arabia, ‘Israel’, Turkey, Britain, France and NATO.

The Front denounced its government’s shameful policies that are subject to US bloody and aggressive strategies. “The US warships that carried out the aggression against Syria moved from Spanish Naval Station Rota in Cádiz city. So Spanish government is a partner in the aggression and in killing peaceful people that have never carried hatred for Spanish people,” it affirmed.

The Front called for fighting political corruption in Spanish government and implementing political freedom and national sovereignty through expelling all foreign forces from Spanish bases and withdrawing from NATO.

Last Friday at dawn, the US launched several missiles at one of the Syrian army’s airfields in the central region, killing 7 persons, wounding several more and causing big material damage.

Other missiles were launched by the US at several towns in the east-southern countryside of Homs where 9 civilians, including 4 children, were reportedly martyred.
