European Solidarity Front for Syria in Spain calls for lifting coercive Western economic measures on Syria

The European Solidarity Front for Syria in Spain called for the lifting of the unilateral coercive Western economic measures imposed on the Syrian people, the departure of the occupation forces from the Syrian territories, and the  end of the support provided by some governments to their partners and allies of terrorist organizations in Syria.

The Front also demanded, in a statement on Sunday, for international community to abide by international legislation and to stop American and Israeli support for mercenaries, terrorist organizations and armed militias that carry out criminal acts of kidnapping, killing, robbery, and violation of sovereignty in the regions of northern Syria.

The Front denounced the blockade and the coercive Western measures, which came within the framework of the terrorist plot against Syria. The Front noted that the terrorist organizations and mercenaries for more than 10 years have received international support and funding, and a Western media coverage and blackout to conceal the real suffering of the Syrian people.

The Front pointed out that these coercive measures increase the harshness of the difficult living conditions that Syrians endure, especially at the present time. The western measures prevent and hinder the work and efforts of the Syrian government in securing and importing the basic and necessary needs of medicines and medical devices in light of the global outbreak of the Corona pandemic.

The Front condemned the incursion of the Turkish occupation forces into the Syrian territories and their usurpation of part of these lands with the support of NATO and the countries of the West. It also denounced the ambitions of this regime and its colonial policy in the Syrian lands, such as its occupation of Alexandretta , similar to what the Israeli entity  did in the occupied Syrian Golan.

The statement indicated that the Turkish regime forces and their mercenaries looted the Syrian factories and transferred them to Turkey, stressing that this regime committed massacres and  genocides and  burned villages and towns. The Turkish regime is also establishing institutes and educational centers affiliated to it on Syrian territory in flagrant violation of international law and United Nations charters.
