European politician: Prolonging the war in Ukraine a purely American interest

Member of the European Parliament and leader of the Slovak Party “Republic” Milan Uhrik has stressed that prolonging the war in Ukraine is a purely American interest.

The United States doesn’t only achieve financial gains through selling gas and weapons to Europe; rather, it makes the old continent more dependent on it, thereby getting Europe out of the circle of its competitors, Uhrik said in a tweet on Saturday.

He pointed out that when the US President Joe Biden meets with  President of the Ukrainian regime Zelenskyy this means that Europe will not enjoy peace anymore.

Uhrik condemned the European politicians’ keenness on providing assistance to the United States instead of defending their countries’ interests, pointing out that this behavior has increased Europe’s dependency on the U.S and caused more losses to the Europeans.
