European Political Activists: Syria Fighting Terrorism on Behalf of the World

DAMASCUS, (ST)-Belgian and Dutch political activists have stressed that “Syria is fighting terrorism on behalf of the world and by doing so it is defending Europe.”

In a press conference in Damascus on Monday, the activist delegation, currently visiting Syria, said that they will work to influence the public opinion in Europe through organizing symposiums and conferences that aim to convey the truth about events in Syria.

“What is going on is a global war on terrorism waged by Syria alone and this terrorism is inevitably coming to Europe,” they added.

The activists referred to a change in the European public opinion and to several programs and activities being held trying to explain the real image of what is going on in Syria, while the United States and Israel keep manipulating some European politicians, an affair that necessitates a change in the European policies towards events in the region.

They affirmed that the Europeans have started to realize the huge disinformation practiced by the western media which depended in its reports on some channels that participated in the shedding of the Syrian blood and were affected by the American policies.

The activists pointed out that Saudi Arabia is the biggest financier of terrorist operations backed by the United States and Israel which both seek changing the map of the Middle East.
