European Parliamentarian: Sanctions against Russia are destroying Europe

Brussels (ST): European Parliament member Ivan Vilibor Sencic confirmed that the ongoing sanctions and restrictions against Russia are destroying the European Union countries, noting that the work on the 12 package of these sanctions is for a propaganda purpose.

In an interview with Izvestia newspaper, Sencic said, according to TASS agency: “The 11th package of sanctions against Moscow is laughable, and includes sanctions to confront Russia’s circumvention of sanctions, an embargo on the movement of trucks from the Russian Federation, and the transit of oil through the northern branch of the Druzhba pipeline.”

He added, “Russia hardly suffered from the previous 10 rounds of sanctions, and the 11th package will not change the situation, and I believe that Russia no longer cares about Europe, whose reckless policy has made itself irrelevant to Russia.”
