European media: US occupation’s plundering of Syrian wealth constitutes a war crime

The Slovakian website Zim A Viek confirmed that the plundering of  Syria’s wealth by the US occupation forces in cooperation with terrorists, constitutes a war crime in accordance with international law.

In a report today, the website stressed that the natural resources in Syria belong to the Syrian people only, therefore the Syrian government is  the only authority authorized to utilize them.

In turn, the Czech news site, Narodni Noviny, criticized the US occupation forces’ continuation of the theft of  Syrian oil, indicating that these forces are illegally present in the Syrian territories, as they have not been invited by the Syrian government or with an international mandate.

The site emphasized that the continued imposition of unilateral coercive economic measures against Syria targets the Syrian economy and people, which is also inconsistent with international laws.
