European diplomat: Our discussions with Syria included opportunities for future cooperation

Head of the EU Delegation to Syria, Michel Onmacht, announced that his talks with Syrian Interior Minister, Anas Khattab, included opportunities for future cooperation between Brussels and Damascus.

In a tweet on X-playform, Onmacht expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with Minister Khattab, noting the exchange of views on the security situation in Syria, related developments, and discussions on the priorities of the Interior Ministry’s work in the coming period.
Earlier, Interior Minister Khattab received Onmacht during an official visit which aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and coordination, with the goal of ensuring sustained stability in the region.
