The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed that the Israeli occupation bombed 16 shelter schools in Gaza in one month within the framework of its war of genocide against the Palestinian people.
“The occupation forces have escalated targeting the Palestinians during the last week in Gaza and North Gaza governorates, by bombing residential homes, gatherings and commercial stalls, in addition to shelters and their surroundings.” The monitor said in a statement on Sunday
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor pointed out that bombing and destroying schools over the heads of the displaced comes as part of the actual implementation of the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip, and aims to empty the Palestinian land of the largest possible number of Palestinians through killing and forced displacement.
The statement added that the occupation army deliberately destroyed the remaining shelters in the Strip, including schools and public facilities, with the aim of creating a coercive environment that forces Palestinians to leave their residential areas and forcibly migrate towards the center and south of the Strip.
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stressed that the complicity of Washington and many European countries, in light of the international silence and failure to take any effective measures to stop the crime of genocide, encourages the occupation to complete its plans to exterminate the Palestinians and eliminate them through direct and indirect killing and forced displacement.
The statement called for holding accountable the countries which complicit and partnering with Israel in committing crimes, including providing aid and engaging in contractual relations in the military, political, legal, financial, media and other fields that may contribute to the continuation of these crimes.
