EU: Israel’s continuous attempts to displace the Palestinians from neighborhoods in occupied Al-Quds are illegal

The European Union has stressed that the Israeli occupation’s incessant attempts to displace the Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and other areas in occupied Al-Quds are illegal.

Peter Stano, the official spokesman of the European Commission for Foreign Policy and Security, said in a statement on Saturday that the situation concerning the eviction of Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and other areas in eastern Al-Quds, raise great concern, as these actions are illegal according to the International Humanitarian Law.

Regarding recent escalation by the Israeli occupation in occupied Al-Quds, Stano said that the European Union calls on the authorities to move immediately to calm down the current tension in occupied Al-Quds.
