Escaped Aleppo Civilians Tell Heartbreaking Stories about Their Suffering because of Terrorists

Over the past few months, the Syrian Arab army and its allies have managed to liberate wide areas in the eastern part of Aleppo from terrorists. The army’s victories in Aleppo coincided with successful operations to secure safe exit routes for thousands of civilians leaving the eastern districts of the city and to provide escaped civilians with all types of care. Those civilians were transported to temporary shelters and have their basic requirements met there.

“Tishreen” daily’s reporter, Mohammad Hannora, interviewed several escaped people staying in Jibrin shelter, which houses 6500 persons who came from the eastern districts of Aleppo.

 Heartbreaking stories

Abdulqader Abdullah, who left Jabal Badro district, said: ” Before the crisis, I used to work in a plastic factory and my sons worked in shops to earn our living. But when terrorists entered the district our works stopped. The terrorists wanted my sons to carry weapons and join them, but I refused, so they deprived us of aid.”

Hamada Mohamad al-Khalaf from al-Maysar district said: ” I, my family and my relatives plus 40 women and children left the district. I sold my wife’s golden pieces to get our living over the past years and until the army came and liberated us. Prices of food were very high, the price of sugar was 10.000 Syrian pound ($19)/ 1kg, a liter of oil was being sold at 5000 S.P while a single cigarette was being sold at 2500 S.P ($4.5).”

Ibrahim Na’asan Ibrahim from al-Haydareyeh district told the paper that his work as a shoemaker stopped because of terrorists and that he was receiving money from his brother in Damascus. ” Over the past four months, I spent S.P. 400.000 ($728), yet I ate with my family, which is composed of 12 members, rotten bulgur and weevily rice.”

On his part, Ahmad Hasan Mgama said that the terrorists imprisoned him together with his wife and his little son for three months after they knew that his son is serving in the Syrian army.

In the same context, “Al-Ekhbariya” Television channel quoted a woman from Aleppo city as saying with tears on her cheeks: “I wish to carry a gun and to kill the terrorist who killed my son as we were leaving our district.”

Local media outlets daily publish stories about the suffering of Aleppo people from the foreign-backed terrorist organizations which are still targeting innocent civilians in Syrian army-held areas in the city of Aleppo.

Since 2011, Syria has faced a foreign-backed terror war targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures.

The US, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations in Syria in accordance with the US-Zionist plot that seeks to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
