Erdogan has become a threat to all because of his Ottoman Caliphate dreams: Turkish parties

ANKARA, (ST)- Vice President of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Engin Altay has stressed that President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan has become a threat to all because of his Ottoman Caliphate dreams, pointing out that Erdogan has supported terrorist organizations in Syria and now he wants to repeat the same thing in Libya.

Commenting on a memo in which Erdogan requested a mandate from the Turkish parliament to send troops to Libya, Altay said that “through his Caliphate illusions, Erdogan wants to achieve his own “Moslem Brotherhood” goals regardless of what that may cost Turkey at the internal and external levels.”

The CHP official warned that Erdogan’s policy in Libya is “very dangerous” and he will never hesitate in dragging Turkey into direct and indirect wars with regional countries because of his psychological complexes.”

On her part, leader of Turkey’s “Good Party” Meral Akşener reiterated her rejection of Erdogan’s plan to interfere in Libya’s affairs, noting that Erdogan is running after his own dreams.

Speaking to journalists, Akşener said “it has become clear that Erdogan has turned Turkey’s foreign policy into a tool to realize his ideological dreams”.

She affirmed that the special memo on sending Turkish troops to Libya will give Erdogan limitless authorities that will carry within their folds dangerous problems.

A few days ago, Spokesman of the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed al-Mesmari, said that the Turkish regime transferred hundreds of most dangerous terrorists affiliated to Daesh and al-Qaeda terrorist organizations from Syria to Libya in a bid to export its internal crises and dominate Libya’s resources.
