Erdogan authorities arrest dozens on the pretext of their involvement in the attempted coup

The Turkish regime forces arrested 44 people, the majority of whom are soldiers, on the pretext of their links with the FethullahGulen Organization, whom the regime accused of being behind the 2016 coup attempt in Turkey.

“Anadolu Agency” speaking of the Turkish regime, stated today that the Public Prosecution Office in the capital, Ankara, issued arrest warrants against 33 persons from the General Command of the Gendarmerie, including those who are still in active service, in addition to retired and dismissed persons, as 27 of them were arrested in the framework of raids and arrests were  carried out in 14 Turkish provinces and the pursuits are still ongoing.

The regime authorities also issued arrest warrants for 20 people on the same pretext, and arrested 17 of them in the capital, Ankara.

Yesterday, the Turkish regime forces arrested 47 police officers on the same charge.

Mustafa Yenroglu, deputy head of Turkey’s Democracy and Progress Party, said yesterday that the crackdowns launched by Erdogan’s regime after the coup attempt turned the lives of Turks into “hell”
