Engineering units detonate an explosive device planted by terrorists near Naif Commercial Market in Daraa

Today, engineering units detonated an explosive device planted by terrorists near Naif commercial market and the schools in the eastern Al-Kashef neighborhood in Daraa city.

A source in the Daraa police command said that citizens discovered an explosive device planted near the sidewalk of the Naif market and informed the governmental authorities that  arrived at the scene.

The source explained that after the engineering inspection of the explosive device, it was found that it was impossible to dismantle it, and therefore the decision was made to detonate it after taking precautionary measures and evacuating the area of residents, as the damage was limited to material damage at the explosion site.
