On February 12th, Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, received a telegram of condolence from Tunisian Prime Minister Naglaa Boudin Ramadan.
The Tunisian Prime Minister expressed her condolences to the Syrian government, the Syrian people, and the families of the victims as a result of the devastating earthquake that struck a number of Syrian governorates.
Ramadan said in the telegram: “We received with great sadness and deep sorrow the news of the violent earthquake that struck several regions in the Syrian Arab Republic, resulting in a large number of victims and injuries, and huge material losses.”
She added: “In this painful circumstance, I address the Syrian government and the families of the victims on my own behalf and on the behalf of the Tunisian government, with the deepest expressions of condolences and the most sincere feelings of sympathy. I wish a speedy recovery for the injured.”
