Eng. Arnous holds a meeting on the Marota City and the alternative housing in the legislative decree 66 area

On February 20thPrime Minister Engineer Hussein Arnous chaired a working meeting of the authorities concerned with implementing the exchanges in the Marota City area and the alternative housing in the legislative decree 66 of 2012 in Damascus.

The attendees reviewed implementation of main and service roads and infrastructure for alternative housing and the difficulties encountered in the work and the mechanisms and proposals to overcome them

 

The attendees discussed the stages of work progress in the implementation of MarotaCityalternative housing in the Basilia City area, and the contracts for the implementation of alternative housing towers concluded with public construction companies. 

Prime Minister Arnous stressed that the government continues to provide support and facilities to address and overcome all obstacles to the completion of this vital project

Prime Minister Arnous asked the public construction companies with which contracts were concluded to implement alternative housing towers to speed up implementation according to the scheduled time

Prime Minister Arnous also asked the General Company for Engineering Studies to submit a monthly periodic tracking report on the progress of work in the project. 

The attendees drew attention to the importance of adhering to the three-year timetable for the completion of the entire alternative housing, which includes about 6,000 homes

The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Local Administration and Environment, Public Works, Housing and Finance, the Secretary General of the Cabinet, the Governor of Damascus, and a number of managers of public construction companies.
