Israeli enemy warplanes renew their violation of Lebanese airspace

Beirut, (ST) – Israeli enemy war planes renewed their violation of Lebanese airspace, and carried out flights over the southern regions.

The Directorate of Guidance of Lebanese Army Command issued a statement saying that five Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace over the town of Alma al-Shaab and carried out circular flights over the southern regions and over the town of Naqoura, then left the airspace towards the occupied Palestinian territories.

It also carried out a circular flight over the sea west of Naqoura and over the sea between Tire and Naqura, reaching all Lebanese regions, then left.

Protests, sit-ins renewed in a number of Lebanese regions

In another developmentsit-ins took place today in a number of Lebanese regions today in protest against the banking policy, the deteriorating living condition and corruption.

The Lebanese National Media Agency reported that a number of protesters carried out a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Justice in Beirut to demand the independence of the judiciary and to hold corrupt people to account

A number of protesters in HalbaAkkar, in northern Lebanon, protested in front of the official departments and institutions against the high prices, demanding the rights of workers, holding slogans against corruption and bank policies. They asked employees to stop work.

Since October 17, Lebanon has witnessed sit-ins and demonstrations demanding improvement in living conditions, fighting corruption and holding corrupt people accountable.
