Israeli enemy warplanes and gunboats renew violation of Lebanese airspace and waters

BEIRUT, (ST)- The Israeli warplanes and gunboats on Wednesday renewed their violation of the Lebanon’s airspace and waters.

The Lebanese army command said in a statement that seven Israeli warplanes and a reconnaissance plane violated the Lebanese airspace and flew over Ramesh town, as well as over south Lebanon’s areas, Western Bakaa, al-Shouf and some areas in the north of the country and then left heading towards the occupied Palestinian territories.

The army command’s statement also said four Israeli gunboats violated the Lebanese regional waters off Ras al-Naqoura, pointing out that this violation is being followed up in coordination with the UN Interim Forces in Lebanon UNIFIL.
