Israeli enemy renews its violation of Lebanese airspace and waters

Beirut, (ST) – The Israeli enemy aircraft and its warships renewed their violation of Lebanese airspace and territorial waters.

In a statement, the Lebanese Army Command said that four Israeli warplanes and other enemy reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the southern town of Yaroun and carried out a circular flight over various Lebanese regions.

The army command stated that 16 hostile air violations were detected, interspersed with the implementation of circular flights over the south and various Lebanese regions.

Meanwhile, a gunboat of the Israeli enemy violated the Lebanese territorial waters off Ras al-Naqoura and dropped two lighted bombs over the aforementioned sea spot.

The statement indicated that the issue of violations is being followed up in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

Yesterday, Israeli warplanes intensified the violation of the Lebanese airspace over the southern regions, reaching Sidon and its environs.

Israeli occupation forces constantly violate Lebanese sovereignty, in flagrant violation of the Charter and United Nations resolutions, especially Resolution 1701.
